    The 2020 Cosecha Especial Brut Nature is 100% from Gualtallary grapes, 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, produced with the traditional method of second fermentation in bottle after one year in tank with lees and then kept in bottle with lees for one more year. It's fresh and has notes of fruit and lees, integrated bubbles and close to five grams of sugar but with nothing added, and it's bottled as Brut Nature. 7,500 bottles produced.

    They didn't produce a 2013, so I tasted the sparkling 2014 Cosecha Especial Brut Nature, which is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Gualtallary in the Valle de Uco. It fermented in concrete vats, where it was kept with the lees for one year, followed by at least one year with the lees in bottle and was hand-disgorged according to the orders, but there is no disgorging info on the back labels. In this vintage, they stopped using a liqueur d'expedition because they felt the wine showed better on its own; so, the official classification is "nature," which in Argentina is the equivalent of Europe's brut nature. In any case, they print the residual sugar of the sparkling wines on the back label. It's balanced, fresh and tasty, pleasant and easy to drink. 15,000 bottles produced.

    The 2012 Cosecha Especial Brut Nature is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Gualtallary in the Valle de Uco. It was kept in tank with the lees for one year followed by one and a half to two years sur lees in bottle. The wine is disgorged as the wine is shipped, so you can find bottles with more yeast contact. The nose is fresh, combining notes of white fruit with yeast aromas, with some hints of fennel and aniseed. The palate has effervescent bubbles, quite abundant, with acidity and a slightly bitter finish. It feels young and dry, no dosage is used. 20,000 bottles produced. Norton produces quite a lot of sparkling wine, and this one is their top of the range.

    The 2010 Cosecha Especial Brut Nature is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Gualtallary in the Uco Valley. The wine was kept in tank with the lees for one year, and had its second fermentation in bottle were it matured on the lees for at least two years. The wines are sold as the bottles are disgorged. The color is a pale pink, although it's sold as a white. The nose has plenty of yeasty aromas, notes of bread dough and some faint redcurrant and yellow plums notes. The palate is dry, no dosage is added and it is sold as a Brut Nature with around three grams of sugar. The acidity is quite high, seven grams per liter (no malo), and it makes the wine quite long and tasty. A noteworthy sparkler. 30,000 bottles are produced.
