Plenty of dark Malbec tannins here, giving a tight, mineral wine with a core of dryness. Around the core are black plum and fig fruits, and an edge of the crispest black currants. Firmly extracted, with fine wood toast flavors.——R.V.(2/1/2010)—— 91

A wine that is in such good balance that no one element stands out. They are all melded into a rich wine, dry, but with delicious juiciness as well as acidity.
