The 2007 Chianti Colli Senesi is an absolutely joyous wine from one of Tuscany’s lesser-known appellations. This dark, full-bodied Chianti possesses plenty of dark fruit in a soft, caressing style with no hard edges to speak of. Suggestions of tar, menthol and spices linger on the finish. This is an over achieving wine in the vintage as well as a great value. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
