The 2015 Nosiola offers a clean and direct view onto this little-known grape variety. The wine opens to a crisp and luminous appearance, and although it does not deliver particularly intense aromas, it does offer a steady stream of peach, pear and Golden Delicious apple. This is a mid-weight white wine with discrete acidity.

An admirable offering, the 2000 Nosiola displays notions of bitter almond in the finish (which lowered my score). Nevertheless, I loved its perfume, ripeness, fruit, and medium-bodied, dry, crisp style. Importer: Vin Divino, Chicago, IL; tel. (773) 334-6700
