This is a lovely Amarone with loads of intensity and personality that runs straight through the thick and succulent character of its fruit. Celestino Gaspari and Francesco Parisi—the two men behind the relatively new Zyme winery—are worth keeping an eye on. Their winemaking efforts are consistently excellent as this opulent Amarone demonstrates. This particular wine stands out thanks to its inviting aromas of cured meat, fennel seed, black pepper and blackberry.
