The 2009 Boggina bursts from the glass with an exciting array of sweet red berries, rosemary, flowers, licorice and mint. The aromas and flavors are decidedly floral and high toned in this sexy, fruit-driven Sangiovese. I can’t say there is a lot of varietal typicity here, but this racy, sleek wine is undeniably beautiful on its own terms.
