This is a lower-alcohol Sauvignon Blanc that is picked early, resulting in an ABV of 9%. As a result, it's light-bodied, and rather firm in acidity, but just about pulls it off thanks to a residual sugar level of 11g/L. Aromatically, it's packed with gooseberry and elderflowers, which is commendable as, at these sorts of low alcohol levels, I'd expect much more greenness. Light-bodied with a slight spritz on entry and short in length, this is a decent effort.
