The 2002 Pietrabianca is the house Chardonnay, refreshing and balanced for a white wine produced so far south, lightly and judiciously oaked, balanced and crisp on the finish. Chardonnay cannot be easy in this part of Italy, but professional winemaking and cold-technology in the cellar makes this wine work.
