If you like a savage, brutal Gevrey-Chambertin, I suggest you try Clair's Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers. This vineyard always produces robust, rich, concentrated, brawny wines with a great deal of muscle. Yet they also have a wild berry fruitiness, a hint of exotic oriental spices, and the smell of ground beef. Clair's offering from this vineyard is no exception; it is a wine to drink from the early 1990s through the year 2000.
