The 2010 Grego Moscatel de Grano Menudo saw 15% of the wine aged in new French and American oak for 4 months. Enticing notions of smoke, jasmine, quince, and various tropical fruits titillate the nose while pointing toward a dry, savory, complex wine with excellent depth and concentration. In a blind tasting I might have guessed that it was a high quality Torrontes from Cafayate, Argentina. Drink this excellent value over the next 1-2 years.
