A terrific offering to insert in a blind tasting is the 2000 Camelot, a 60% Cabernet Sauvignon/40% Merlot blend aged in both French and Russian barrels. The dense saturated ruby/purple color is followed by a striking perfume of blackberries, raspberries, prunes, and toast. Full-bodied, concentrated, fleshy flavors, low acidity, huge intensity, and sweet glycerin in the finish suggest this 2000 will age nicely for 8-10 years.
