This is another new wine from the folks at Donnafugata who have recently enlarged their portfolio of Sicilian wines to include Etna. The 2016 Cerasuolo di Vittoria Floramundi is a delicate red wine from the Vittoria area in the southeast of the island. It's floral and graceful with pressed violets and rose hip, a highly accessible and easy wine that does not lack in either complexity or sophistication. Like a Burgundian wine, this blend of Frappato and Nero d'Avola gives you power and strength, delivered with the grace of a ballet.
