The 2001 Barbera d’Alba Vigneto Punta shows excellent balance in its fine dark ruby color, its raspberry, blackberry and toasted oak nose, and its ample, smooth flavors, low in acidity for a Barbera but nonetheless fresh, continuous, and savory.
