The Batard-Montrachet (from 18 year old vines) carries the same label as the rest of Marc Colin's wines except that it lists Domaine Pierre Colin (a family member) as the proprietor. Aromatically, it reveals deep richness and powerful honeysuckle blossoms. Its medium-to-full-bodied, mouth-coating, oily-textured, profound, and well-focused character is lively and packed with minerals. It should be at its peak between 2002 and 2006.
