The 2006 Roero offers up gorgeous high-toned Nebbiolo aromas of cherries, underbrush, sweet spices and anise in a mid-weight style. The wine shows great density, complexity and character at this level. Ideally the wine is best opened 15-20 minutes prior to serving to allow some small imperfections to blow off.
