Possessing a sweet roasted fruit and nut-scented nose, the Puligny Montrachet Les Perrieres has concentrated, smoky, toasted ripe peach fruit well meshed in its silky texture. Well-defined and complex, it would have received higher praise if it had possessed the length of a great wine. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29.
