The more serious 2009 Crianza is 100% Garnacha sourced from 75-80 year old vines and aged in barrel for 12 months. Dark ruby-colored, it presents an aromatic array of cedar, mineral, spice box, and black cherry. On the palate it displays some elegance to accompany its savory black fruit flavors. This well balanced, medium-long wine will drink well for 3-4 years. The three offerings from Campos de Luz are very good values.Importer: Perelada; www.castilloperelada.com
