Meo-Camuzet's finest 1992 offerings include the Nuits St.-Georges-Aux Meurgers (from 30-year old vines), which displays a solid, dark ruby color, and a big, spicy nose of smoky new oak, black fruits, and herbs. Thick, soft, round, and generous, with no hard edges, plenty of smoky, rich fruit, and a long, lush finish, it should be drunk over the next 4-5 years. Meo-Camuzet held its 1992 yields to a conservative 25-30 hectoliters per hectare, resulting in generally sound wines that have been bottled without filtration.
