The classical 2016 Doix Costers de Vinyes Velles is a selection of very old vines (close to 100 years old) that feels harmonious, elegant and floral but with the rustic touch of 55% Cari?ena, softened by the Garnacha. It has a vibrant and electric palate, with the acidity of many 2016s, which gives it length and tastiness and should make it develop nicely in bottle. It ranks among the finest vintages of Doix. 3,500 bottles were filled in April 2018.
