The 2022 La Tremenda, all from irrigated vines planted in 1992, 1995 and 2000 is pale, low in alcohol (13.5%) and with herbal notes, light and with little flavor, perhaps lacking ripeness and development of aromas and flavors. It still feels young and a bit reductive, 125,000 bottles. It was bottled in May 2023.

The red 2021 La Tremenda feels a bit reductive and oaky, but it's not yet bottled. It's primary and has good ripeness at 14% alcohol but feels light and fresh, with a medium body and fine tannins. Give it some time, a few months would do it good. It matured in used 500-liter oak barrels for six months. 250,000 bottles produced. It should be bottled around September 2022.

The pure Monastrell 2020 La Tremenda feels harmonious, balanced and ready, with Mediterranean aromas and flavors of aromatic herbs, wild berries and flowers and a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins and a long, dry finish. It's varietal, serious but easy to drink and understand. 250,000 bottles produced. There is a big increase in volume here.

The incredible value 2018 La Tremenda is pure Monastrell from 26-year-old vines on sandy and silt soils covered with rolling stones. It fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak barrels for six months. It's a more delicate expression of Monastrell, with good balance, quite transparent; it was easy, and the wines have very good freshness, with less concentration but terrific balance and definition, quite fruit-driven but with complexity and depth. It's approachable, really good for an entry level and amazing for the price. This is really impressive. An honest Monastrell. 90,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2020.
