The 2012 Rully 1er Cru Les Pierres has a bit of swagger on the nose with cranberry, wild raspberry and wild hedgerow scents that are well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins. Plenty of dark berry fruit here laced with black tea and spice, although the finish needs a little more definition and focus.
