It’s really splitting hairs when evaluating Huber’s 2007 R bottlings. This one comes across as slighty reduced, with some cabbage-like notes that require vigorous swirling to dissipate. Yet it remains complex, with black cherries and a slightly more muscular, tannic style than Huber’s other ’07s. Drink 2013–2020. ——J.C.(6/1/2011)—— 89
