Helen Turley began assisting at this winery in 1996. Although she did not "make" the 1994s and 1995s, she was responsible for "shaping" and bottling them. The 1995 Merlot reveals an opaque blue/purple color, as well as a big, chocolatey, plum, cassis, and cherry-scented nose, dense, lush, full-bodied flavors, terrific texture, and a heady, chewy finish.
