I sat down with Sarah in McLaren Vale at the end of June 2022, and we spoke about the philosophy of this wine particularly—something I was determined to understand. The wine has always fulfilled its reputation of velvet fruit and plump mouth-filling flavor, and that is continued here in the 2019 Velvet Glove Shiraz. The philosophy dictates that there must be 100% flavor saturation—right to the back of the palate—and there's no escaping the tsunami of fruit that washes over the tongue.
