    There are nearly 58,000 cases of the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec, 4% Petit Verdot, 4% Tannat, 2% Petite Sirah and 2% Merlot, matured in 27% new French oak. Marked by hints of pencil shavings and dried herbs, it delivers enough cassis and black cherry fruit to be considered excellent. It's medium to full-bodied, with a velvety texture, yet is juicy and fresh as well, with a mouthwatering finish.

    Sourced primarily from the Coombsville and Yountville AVAs and matured 21 months in about one-third new French oak (the rest goes mainly into second and third-use French barrels), the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts scents of cedar, cigar box and cassis. It's medium to full-bodied, dusty and tannic, rather than being charming or plush. On the savory, earthy side, with a dry, dusty finish, this really does need a steak (or some other red meat) to shine.

    Composed of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 2% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon springs from the glass with vibrant kirsch, wild blueberries and warm cassis notes plus fragrant hints of cedar chest, red roses, cinnamon stick and cloves. Medium-bodied, the palate sings of bright red and black fruits with slightly chewy tannins and bold freshness, finishing on a savory note. 50,000 cases were made.

    The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 5% Merlot and 5% Rh?ne varieties aged in 37% new French oak for 20 months. Deep purple-black in color, it opens with crushed blueberries, black cherries and cassis with touches of yeast extract, beef dripping, bay leaves and cedar with a waft of lilacs. Medium-bodied and wonderfully elegant in the mouth, the palate reveals fantastic energy with a firm, grainy frame and long, mineral-laced finish. 60,500 cases produced.

Deep, dense purple-colored, with notes of creosote, earth, forest floor and plenty of cassis fruit, this wine is rich, medium-bodied, and ideal for drinking over the next 10-15 years.
