This is a powerful Beaujolais! The huge, perfumed nose offers unbelievably intense, fragrant aromas of black fruits, flowers, and sweet candy. In the mouth, the wonderful richness, unctuosity and opulence are something to savour, and there is an inner core of rich, concentrated fruit that suggests low yields and/or old vines. The finish goes on and on. There are enough soft tannins and adequate acidity to suggest this wine should drink well for 2-3 years.
