Duboeuf's 1994 Fleuries are powerful, intense wines with plenty of fruit, body, and tannin. One of my favorite wines in the Duboeuf portfolio is the Fleurie from Chateau des Deduits. The 1994 is another successful wine, offering impressive color, a super nose of jammy cassis fruit, dense, pure, admirably extracted flavors, medium to full body, a good sense of structure, and a generous, lush finish. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
