This is a generously sappy exemplar of Ungeheuer – featuring white peach and apple – though it displays plenty of site-typical green herbal notes, especially smoky suggestions of marjoram. There are even some lovely, bittersweet inner-mouth floral notes that I would more usually associate with other Forst sites. The feel is full but not heavy, and the seriously sustained finish displays a lovely entwining of herbal, floral, fruit and mineral strands.
