Readers shouldn’t look at Vidal Fleury as a stepchild of Guigal, as enormous investments are being made and I think the best days of Vidal Fleury’s wines are ahead of them. A good effort and one of the value picks from Vidal Fleury is always their Crozes-Hermitage, and the 2004 reveals olive, herbal, and black cherry and raspberry notes with hints of plum and fig.
