Cedar and vanilla nearly swamp the mixed-berry fruit on the nose of the 2018 Reserve Shiraz, but the raspberries and blackberries come through in the mouth, lending flesh and substance to the medium to full-bodied palate, while the wood does make a return on the slightly dry, dusty finish.
