The 2010 Barbera d’Alba is fleshy and beautifully balanced from start to finish. Dark red fruit, flowers and spices are some of the notes that take shape in this seductive Barbera. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014.
It’s hard to go wrong with any of these new releases from Seghesio. The estate’s newest wine, the straight Barolo, has turned out beautifully in 2007. It is one of the under the radar gems of the 2007 vintage, and one of the finest Baroli readers will find in its price range.
