Like the le Meysonniers, the 2017 Saint-Péray Les Tanneurs is a blend of lots aged 60-40 in stainless steel and demi-muid. Notes of toasted marshmallow and grilled pineapple come across as nicely balanced. Medium to full-bodied, it's plump, mealy and long on the finish. Throw it in a Chardonnay tasting as a ringer and watch it outperform anything in this same price range.
