The 2012 Crianza is 100% Tempranillo, aged 14 months in French and American small oak. A rather classic wine, with notes of graphite, black currant and black cherry, roasted herbs, unsmoked cigar tobacco and toasty oak. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.

Saturated ruby. Perfumed aromas of dark berries, cherry-cola, smoky oak and vanilla, lifted by a floral topnote. Smooth, appealingly sweet blackcurrant and cherry flavors show very good depth and energy, with a spicecake note coming up with aeration. The smoke and floral notes carry through on a long, broad finish that features fine-grained tannins and dark fruit character.
