The 2015 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières comes four hectares owned by the estate and is matured in 30% new wood, including 20% whole cluster fruit. It has a clean and pure bouquet with bergamot-tinged red cherry and strawberry fruit that is nicely defined. The palate is medium-bodied with supple redcurrant and cranberry fruit, and well-integrated new oak, although it needs just a little more Pinoté to be expressed on the finish.
