The 2013 Santenay Clos des Gatsulard (under the Domaine Gagey label), which has southerly exposure, has a fragrant bouquet that presently displays more fruit intensity than the Clos de Malte. The palate is fleshy on the entry with crisp red cherry and strawberry fruit, quite tart on the mid-palate, with a fresh and slightly tinny finish. Overall, this seems to have more promise than the Clos de Malte.
