From the former Goldwingert, the 2014 Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett is the only wine produced in this cru and opens pure, intense and very concentrated on the nose -- offering a mix of ripe peach and stony flavors. Full-bodied, intense and very mineral on the palate, this is a juicy, intense and pretty baroque Himmelreich with a warm fruit intensity and creamy texture. Good finish with grip and structure. This wine should benefit from further bottle aging.
