Regrettably, only one barrel (25 cases) of the delicious 1997 Charmes-Chambertin was crafted. Aromatically, it offers sweet red fruits, spices, and toasty oak. This broad, creamy, fresh, and sultry wine is medium-bodied, complex, and delicious. Opulent layers of syrupy red cherries, as well as other assorted fruits coat the taster's palate.
