The 1991 Unfiltered Chardonnay is worth fighting over. It is one of the greatest new-world Chardonnays I have tasted. It possesses a Montrachet-like nose of minerals, opulent fruit, vanillin, and floral aromas that soar from the glass. Sensationally extracted, with viscous, opulent, highly concentrated flavors, this full-bodied, unctuous Chardonnay has more in common with a DRC Montrachet or Niellon Batard-Montrachet. It should drink well for at least 3-4 years. A must buy!
