The 1999 Zinfandel Juveniles (previous called Young Vines) (450 cases, 15.2% alcohol) was made from tiny parcels of replanted vines in the Hayne, Moore, and Duarte vineyards. Turley Cellars does not want to blend these younger vines with wine from the older vines. A sensational effort, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color as well as a knock-out nose of blackberries and spice, an opulent texture, and a superb finish.
