The 2005 Montelig is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenere, and 30% Petit Verdot. Deep crimson-colored, it reveals a complex perfume of pain grille, mineral, scorched earth, blueberry, and blackberry. Powerful, layered, and firmly structured, it has a finish which goes on for over 60-seconds. It will develop in the cellar for another 6-8 years and be at its best from 2014 to 2028.
