From 60+-year-old vines (German Sp?tburgunder clones), Huber's 2014 Bienenberg Sp?tburgunder GG displays a deep, ripe, slightly toasty and still a bit reductive bouquet of red berries, cherries, nougat and earthy flavors. Full-bodied, pure, fresh and finessed, this is a silky textured, tension-filled and firmly structured Pinot with fine tannins and clear, straight fruit with beetroot, red cabbage and chocolate flavors in the finish. This is a very delicate, still young and oaky Pinot that will improve over the next few years.
