The 2013 Aloxe-Corton Village has more fruit intensity compared to the 2012, with lifted black cherry and bilberry scents, although it does not possess the delineation of last year’s Aloxe. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, moderate depth with slightly tapered raspberry and strawberry fruit. Simple and straightforward, drink this over the next three or four years.
