Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 “The Assemblage” Shiraz, Mourvedre, Grenache is scented with notes of spiced blackberries and blueberry preserves over hints of kirsch, potpourri and allspice. Full bodied with a generous amount of spicy warm berry flavors and good line of very crisp acid, it has a medium level of velvety tannins and a long finish.
