Bright ruby-red. Musky aromas of currant, mocha, woodsmoke, cedar and dark chocolate-covered cherries. Nicely filled in on the palate, conveying enticing sweetness to its flavors of currant, cocoa powder and mocha. Finishes with excellent spicy, saline length and suave tannins. Less peppery than the 2012 version but still with a touch of herbal lift on the end. Offers noteworthy breadth and class for a Cabernet in this price range, not to mention long on the aftertaste.
