The 2007 Etna Rosso Rovittello shows lovely pliancy in its sweet red cherries, mint, flowers. French oak adds a measure of plumpness and radiance, but may also be behind the slightly dry tannins that emerge on the finish. Still, this is one of the prettier selections among the estate's new releases. Rovittello is Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2022.
