The brilliant 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Block Vineyard from the Alexander Valley is made from 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc. It is an unfiltered, dense, full-bodied wine with considerable power and richness. Aged in 50% new French oak, with more than 14% alcohol, it exhibits plenty of tannin, as well as impressively-endowed flavors of roasted herbs, black currants, chocolate, and blackberries.
