So what's new? Once again, winemaker Paul Draper has produced five beautifully made, rich, distinctive Zinfandels. The 1994 Zinfandel Dusi Ranch (14.4% alcohol) is a fat, hugely extracted, opulent, luscious, full-bodied Zinfandel that coats the mouth with wonderful creamy, pure, jammy Zinfandel fruit. As in all five of these offerings, the high alcohol is well-concealed behind admirable levels of physiologically ripe, concentrated fruit. Drink this fleshy wine over the next 4-5 years.
