Vidal-Fleury's top red wines are its two cuvees of Cote Rotie. The regular cuvee, from the firm's own vineyards, is usually an excellent wine. The 1989 Cote Rotie- Brune et Blonde is slightly less impressive than the 1988 I recommended last year. It is a rich, spicy Cote Rotie, with a smoky, raspberry, oaky-scented nose, rich, medium-bodied flavors, moderate tannins, and a good finish. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. Importer: William J.
