The 2020 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Mon A?eul has an edge over the 2021 and 2019. Enticing aromas of raspberry liqueur, ripe forest strawberry, red and black plum, black olive tapenade, licorice, abundant exotic spices and a splash of mint waft from the glass. Full-bodied and rich, ripe tannins envelop the palate loaded with a juicy core of ripe red and black fruits that are kept in check by lively acidity. Only 6,000 bottles produced.
