Dark, brooding and greatly marked by the élevage as it offers plenty of smoky and spicy, creamy oak aromas, the 2011 Perpetual was sourced form a very warm vintage in Priorat. It's a blend of Garnacha and Cari?ena with a wide, powerful palate with plenty of dusty tannins, some rusticity and edges to be polished in bottle. The acidity is moderate and the tannins coat the inside of your mouth, so it could do with little more freshness. A powerful, extracted Priorat in the style of the end of the 1990s. Wait.
